Sockhorses

I recently made sockhorses for my little men. My mother made me one when I was small and so I thought I would recreate the fun with a pair of my own. All it took were three large white socks (one for the ears and nostrils) yarn for the hair, and stuffing. For the halter I used ribbon and then I used scraps of  fabric for the necktie. My boys were pleased as punch to saddle up on their new friends.

So much fun! I didn't know you were posting here again. Now I'll have to check back. I love that the skeleton pants made it into the cowboy life, too! This is a great idea.
